Scholarship Schemes on Maha DBT Portal

All students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, SBC, VJ, NT, EBC and Minority (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain and Jews Community) are hereby informed that according to their specific category of eligibility they should fill online application form for the below mentioned department-wise Scholarship Scheme on http://mahadbtmahait.gov.in (Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal)

Social Justice and Special Assistance Department (Applicable for SC students):

1.Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship

  • Candidates family annual income should be less than or equal to 2,00,000/-
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

2. Post-Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Freeship)

  • Candidate family annual income above 2,00,000/- without any upper limit.
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

Tribal Development Department (Applicable for ST students):

1.Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India)

  • Family annual income  2,50,000/-
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar

2. Tuition Fee and Exam Fee for Tribal Students (Freeship)

  • Family annual income limit 2,50,000/-
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

Directorate of Higher Education:

  1. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna
  2. State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)

  • Scholarship is available for open or general category students of Maharashtra.
  • Annual income of the family must be up to 8 Lakh.
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

VJ, NT, OBC and SBC Welfare Department:

1.Post Matric Scholarship

  • Candidate family annual income should be less than or equal to Rs.1.00 Lakh.
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

2. Tuition Fees and Examination Fees

  • Candidates family annual income is more than 1.00 Lakh and less than or equal to 8.00 Lakh.
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

Minority Development Department:

Scholarship Scheme for State Minority Communities Pursuing Higher Professional Education:

Financial assistance to the meritorious students belonging to Minority Communities (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain & Jews Community)

  • Candidates family annual income should not be more than 6 Lakhs.
  • They must produce Income Certificate Provided by Tahesildar.

How to Register Online:

Online Registration should be done through the Website: http://mahadbtmahait.gov.in in the following manner:

Step 1. Click on New Applicant Registration Button

Enter Aadhaar Number and click on “Send OTP” button

(If your mobile number is registered with Aadhaar then choose the authentication type as - OTP)

If your Mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar then go to Aadhaar Centre and register your Mobile number with Aadhaar and then follow the above procedure.

Step 2. To login into Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal, Applicant has to click on “Applicant login” button and using Username and Password, the user will click on Profile button in order to fill in the details of profile.

  • Applicant must possess Bank Account in their own name and the bank account should be linked with their Aadhaar

  1. Rev. Stephen Hislop Christian Students Scholarship (Christian Fee Concession):
  • Eligibility: Any Christian student taking admission to any of the available programs at Hislop College.

  • Eligibility: This fee concession is available to the wards of Hislop College Staff.

  1. Khelo Hislop Padho Hislop (Sports Fee Concession):
  • Eligibility: Students who excel in sports can avail this concession on the recommendation.

  1. HOPE (Hislop College Alumni Association Sponsorship):
  • “HOPE” is a sponsorship programme by HISCAAN. This financial assistance is available for the undergraduate and post graduate from economically weak background.
