To promote scientific temper and research aptitude among faculty and students.
To generate quality research on cutting-edge topics and emerging trends in different disciplines.
To promote interdisciplinary and interdepartmental research activities.
To encourage faculty to take up major and minor research projects.
To Facilitate approval of research grants from various Central, State and Private funding agencies.
To establish linkages with research centers of national repute and with the industry.
To orient research towards community service and social development.
