Activities Conducted by Training & Placement Cell in academic session 2018-2019
1. Workshop on Work skills: “WOW” was conducted on 12th October 2018. 176 students attended the workshop. Dr. Hariom Puniyani, Mr. Rishi Chaurasiya and Dr. Rashmi Shahu were the speakers. They covered all the aspects of Employability and convincing skills, Apptitude Enhancement and Skill Development, GD and PI. Students immensely gained from the day long workshop.
2. Students along with faculty members visited Hindustan Computers Limited, Mihan, Nagpur on 31st January 2019. Mr. Melwyn Kirath and Ms. Kanika Madan oriented the students in Campus. The visit was successful.
3. Tata Consultancy Services Certified Course, “Finance and Accounting for Business Process Services” was conducted.
4. Tata Consultancy Services Certified Course, “Campus to Corporate” was conducted.
5. ICICI Placement Drive was held on 15th October 2018. 41 students were selected in the company.
6. Concentrix Placement Drive was held on 11th December 2018. 35 students got selected in the company.
7. Dr. Hariom Puniyani and Dr. Ajay Yoel attended ‘Shubhecha 2018’ on 7th December 2018. It was a meeting of minds of Nagpur residents to engage in an exciting discussion and share their respective perspective on developing the employability quotient of the future workforce.
8. Dr. Hariom Puniyani attended Stakeholder Consultation and Design Workshop for YES Centre (UNDP) Nagpur on 27th February 2019. It is an end-to-end employment exchange platform.
