With this objective we have organized a certificate course approved by RTM Nagpur University in �Practical Accounting and Taxation � under Jeevan Shikshan Abhiyan.

Department of Computer Science, Hislop College organizes Certificate course in "NETWORKING, COMPUTER HARDWARE AND MAINTANENCE" Eligibility of the course is HSC and above. The course includes the study of Hardware devices, assembling and disassembling of computer system, their repairing and their installation. Networking part covers installation up gradation and many more. Students are provided with tools which are essential in performing various practical's by Computer Science Department. Students get exhaustive hands on knowledge and live demonstrations. The course is recognized by JEEVAN SHIKSHAN ABHIYAN of R. T. M. NAGPUR UNIVERSITY run by Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension. In the 60 hours designed course, resource persons train the students by giving hands on session on how the computer works, hardware installation, how to install hardware devices, to install applications, upgrade and maintain the computer systems, interpret the errors /faults of computer systems, and understand networking technology. Each student was equipped with tools. It's a trend of the department to make aware, students about the upcoming and latest technologies. Huge count of students from various faculties have registered and benefited from the course. This course helps the students to increase their job profile.
